Perfected during the Muromachi period and fostered under the patronage of the era's powerful rulers, Nohgaku (Noh and Kyogen) serves as a profound treasury of refined aesthetic sense and masterful craftsmanship.
We invite you to experience the beauty of the medieval and early modern periods through this collection, featuring the expressive Noh masks worn by actors and the kotsuzumi and otsuzumi (hand drums) that provided the art's rhythmic soul.
