■ Exhibition Concept

Artist Statement

"Life" is a cycle of repairing wounded cells and hearts, repeating the process of birth, proliferation, and termination. This installation is a prayer for that cycle to continue for eternity. The holes burned into washi paper with incense sticks and the use of thread evoke the fundamental workings of life—skin, membranes, and blood vessels.
