I’m Mayo Ikawa, a conversational art writer, and I’ll be your guide through Nakanoshima and its surrounding galleries. At each stop, gallerists and artists will provide easy-to-understand explanations of the works and their backgrounds. This tour is perfect even for those who frequent museums but are new to the gallery scene. Let’s enjoy a relaxed, "no-stress" art experience together while chatting away.
After our art walk, it’s time for "Tea Talk." We’ll head to a stylish cafe to let our artistic conversation blossom as we share our impressions of the tour.

Students from the Faculty of International Tourism will be participating in a gallery tour.
When students first experienced these galleries back in 2019, they were completely captivated by the charm of the art and the wonderful atmosphere of the spaces. Since then, they’ve felt right at home popping into local galleries just for fun! This year, while taking part in the tour, the students will be brainstorming ways to encourage more tourists to include gallery visits in their travels.
